Potinara Orchid Heather’s Gold ‘Motherload’ (Potinara hybrid)

This sensational Hausermann hybrid was bred from their big blooming, cut flower stock. ‘Motherload’ tends to flower from January to March and has extra-large 6-8” pale yellow petals with ruffled edges and a peach-colored lip with yellow highlights in the throat. According to the hybridizer, it’s one of their best and strongest growing cattleyas and grows well either potted or mounted. There are usually 2-3 flowers per spike that last 3 weeks. It has a pleasing cattleya fragrance. This is a blooming size plant not necessarily in spike.
