This fast-growing succulent has thick green leaves that are heavily speckled with burgundy red spots that bleed into one another and give it a deep red appearance. The red color is more pronounced when grown in full sun and more muted when grown in partial sun. ‘Mission to Mars’ forms a rosette and will quickly reach 2’ tall by 3’ wide. The leaves have an arching habit with the tips curving downward, while the leaf edges curl upward giving the leaves a V-shape. Plant directly in the ground in Zone 8 or higher or grow in a large container for a wonderful patio display.
