Climbing Oleander (Strophanthus preussii)

A wild and unusual floral display arrives from late spring to fall on this shrubby vine from central West Africa. Clusters of cream-colored flowers bedecked with long, curly streamers and a rust-tinted throat cover its shrubby vining habit. Pruning in early spring helps encourage a more restrained form.
